The Green Glass Sea.It is a book about a little girl living in 1945 whose dad worked on the Atomic Bomb for the Manhattan Project. It described the secret city -Los Alamos, and Trinity Site.
Our family has never had the opportunity to see Trinity Site. It is only opened to the public twice a year. So tomorrow Aubrey and I are driving down to White Sands Missile Range and meeting Dad and Leslie. (Kali has soccer and Tom has to work.)
We hope to bring back some pictures and some trinitite (if it is not too radioactive)!
