I guess my dad and Leslie are official "snowbirds" (one who travels to warm climates for the winter). They have made the winter trek to Lake Havasu for several years now.
Tom and I and the chick-a-biddies were going to take full advantage and go visit the warmness...not that ABQ has been too bad! We were so excited to see my daddy,Leslie and cranky Spirit (the poodle) for the long weekend.
~Anyway, plans changed.~
Flagstaff got tons of snow and was expecting more on the day we were going to drive home. So we postponed our trip west. Instead, we decided to go south to our hometown, Alamogordo. We were so excited to see Tom's parents and my momma, Charlie and my Grandpa Mac.
~Anyway, plans changed.~
Tom got a virus. He was sick in bed with a fever, aches and chills for 36 hours. He came out of it this morning after sleeping 12 hours. And we were able to get out into the real world for lunch and groceries. Dan, it was a God-thing with all the plans changing!!
