Twenty-Three Miles in Three Days!

The Havasupai Reservation is in a remote corner of the southwestern branch of the Grand Canyon.  The trail is 8 miles over rugged terrain and is accessible only by foot, horseback or helicopter.  No roads.  The trail leads to Supai village.





Here we are at 9 am starting down a million switchbacks!


We were surrounded by towering red cliffs on the way down.

Here is Wii'igliva (the Watchmen) the rock spires near the Village.






Here are a couple shots of the village.

The beauty almost makes the hiking sound worth it. I tell ya, I'm really enjoying this trip!
