Here is part of Day 1~
Our vacation started with a visit to my sister in Steamboat Springs, CO. Steamboat is beautiful. And so patriotic on Independence Day! We attended the very cute parade and lounged on the lawns in front of the Town Hall~
The girls hula hooped while we wandered the city's outdoor Saturday Market.
My dad worked for Smokey Bear for his entire career with the Forest Service so he has a special place in our hearts!

Great pictures. We enjoyed Steamboat Springs several years ago. Did you go to the hot springs on the side of town?
I'm glad you got Smokey's name right. A lot of folks want to say "Smokey The Bear," and it's just Smokey Bear.
